Norms around gender and sexuality have varied throughout history and across cultures. LGBTQIA+ people have sometimes lived openly, but more often have been forced into the closet. At Skissernas Museum, we uncover queer stories by exploring queer themes in art and highlighting the lives of artists and cultural figures shaped by non-normative experiences.
We warmly invite you to celebrate Pride season with us through a themed tour of the collection and temporary exhibition – all through a queer lens.
The tour lasts about 45–60 minutes and is included in the admission fee.
