Möt Thomas Rydén – konstvetaren, bokhistorikern och Lundabon, som avslöjade fransk boktjuv och italiensk maffia.
Thomas Rydén, konstvetare och bokhistoriker, disputerade på en avhandling om en anglosaxisk handskrift från 900-talet. Han har skrivit om diverse handskrifter på UB i Lund, inventerat illuminerade handskrifter i svenska samlingar och forskat om drottning Kristinas handskrifter på Vatikanbiblioteket. Thomas har även skrivit om Lunds domkyrka.
Efter några år med eget företag som konsthandlare, arbetar han nu på Crafoord Auktioner i Lund. Parallellt med det arbetet har han på sin fritid ägnat sig åt att leta upp gamla skrifter som stulits, köpt upp dem på nätet och på så sätt räddat ett kulturarv.
