Did Olle Bærtling really want to install an elevator in his 77 meter high sculpture for Sergels torg? What did Kofi Annan say about Reuterswärd’s knotted revolver? Join a guided tour and hear about realized sculpture visions, as well as shattered art dreams in the museum’s sculpture park.
The park features works created for the space, such as Crossroads by Marcos Ramirez Erre, 2010, along with replicas of works which are displayed elsewhere such as Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd’s Non-Violence, 1988, and Raoul Wallenberg’s briefcase (a detail from the Raoul Wallenberg monument in New York) by Ulla Kraitz, 1998. The park also includes works that have not found their place and works that are perhaps no more than an idea.
