Fermentation Workshop by Foodsaving Lund and Matvarukooperativet

Fermentation is one of the oldest ways of preserving food and is a method to reduce food waste. Meanwhile, it enables us to consume seasonal and local ingredients for a longer time. We invite you to a locally produced fermentation workshop as part of Kulturnatten 2025. We would like to share with you how to create various fermented recipes using food produced by local farmers. The participation will cost you 30 sek for the veggies, and please bring a jar or container with lids.

About the hosts:

Food Saving Lund is actively combating food waste. At the same time, Food Saving Lund is an organisation run by a group of people who fight against food waste by doing regular food pick-ups in and around Lund and sharing it among the community.

Matvarukooperativet is a link between sustainable local producers and the citizens of Lund. We are all volunteers, and everyone is welcome to join our cooperative to buy food that helps preserve the beautiful Skåne landscapes!
