I konsertprogrammet The Lost Music of Women – från Forntiden till #metoo tar Ecstatic Ensemble er med på en resa från hisnande 1400 f.Kr. fram till nutid med musik av kvinnorna som inte fick märkas. Hör vokalmusik av vikingaskalden Jorunn, Barbara Strozzi, Francesca Caccini och många fler oförtjänt bortglömda kvinnor. Musik från slott, kloster och fäbod, i flykt från krig, revolution och slaveri. Allt framförs a cappella.
Alla sångare i gruppen har ett förflutet i professionella körer såsom Radiokören, Eric Ericsons kammarkör och Mogens Dahl Kammerkor. De är experter inom olika så olika områden som tidig musik, barock, opera, jazz och musikal. I Ecstatic Ensemble förenas de av kärlek till stämsång.
