Odeum fortsätter sin serie Oerhört, där musikvetaren Tobias Lund och director musices Patrik Andersson vänder och vrider på särskilt intressanta, märkliga eller inflytelserika verk ur musikhistorien. Denna gång har turen kommit till Ludwig van Beethovens femte symfoni, den så kallade Ödessymfonin, som Akademiska kapellet framför redan den 9 november. Hur är musiken konstruerad? Hur har byggstenarna passats samman? Vilken mening har symfonin tillskrivits? I vilka sammanhang har den använts av eftervärlden, och vilken historisk betydelse har den fått? Välkomna till en kväll om ett av den västerländska konstmusikens mest centrala verk!
