2026 är det exakt 500 år sedan den första översättningen av Nya testamentet kom ut på svenska språket. Den översättning som används mest idag är NT-81, som ingår i Bibel 2000 och som översattes på statligt uppdrag. Är det då dags för en ny översättning? Föredragshållaren Lisa Buratti har varit med i den pilotöversättning av utvalda delar som blev klar i år och är även en av primäröversättarna i Svenska Bibelsällskapets projekt NT 2026. Hur tänker man kring den nya översättningen när texerna på nytt översätts från grundspråket grekiska? Hur ser det hantverket ut och vilka överväganden görs?
Lisa Buratti är utöver översättare doktorand i Nya testamentets exegetik och präst i Svenska kyrkan. Hon har bland annat studerat på Pontificio Istituto Biblico i Rom.
