Den 9 februari till 3 mars 2024 möter ni Lena Kahl Asketorp som under 20 år har varit verksam som professionell violinist, huvudsakligen vid Malmö Opera. Måleriet resulterar i något konkret som finns kvar efter det att skapandeprocessen är avslutad. Det har gett henne nya uttrycksmöjligheter vid sidan av min musik. I sina bilder arbetar hon just nu mycket med akvarelltekniken ”vått i vått”. Med hjälp av olika växtmaterial, stenar och schabloner skapar hon ytor, mönster och figurer. När allt är torrt avlägsnas allt ”löst” material och kan återanvändas i nästa målning.
