Jane Austens sex odödliga romaner är fulla med musik! Det handlar om italienska arior som måste översättas, besvären med att frakta en harpa i skördetid, likheter och skillnader mellan äktenskapet och dans på en bal etc. Denna kväll – eller kanske snarare soaré – i den vackra Hornsbergssalen på Kulturen varvas högläsning, musikhistoriska och musik för en röst, två röster, violin, viola och klaviaturinstrument. Medverkande: Cecilia Alrikson – sång och klaviatur (piano, pianoforte eller cembalo) och Anna Braw – violin, viola och sång.
