Annika är bildkonstnär och arbetar främst med måleri, grafik och teckning. Mitt konstnärskap kretsar kring människans förhållande till sig själv, sitt livsrum och sanningen. Utifrån ett sinnligt perspektiv tar jag mig an de existentiella ämnena. Jag dras till det dubbelbottnade, ibland motsägelsefulla. Det måste finnas något obegripligt som tar tag i mig. Mina motiv hämtar jag ofta från min vardag och vanligtvis utgår jag från foton, som jag förhåller mig fritt till. Jag jobbar intuitivt. Mitt bildskapande har en nära koppling till poesi.
