The Market Hall
The Market Hall is situated in the very heart of Lund. It is a wonderful place for foodlovers with its specialised shops for cheese, meat, fish, pasta, bread, cakes, ready to go, as well as a fine selection of restaurants from sushi, vegetarian food, pasta, pizza and burgers to fine dining.
The shops are open Monday-Wednesday 10-18, Thursday and Friday 10-19 and Saturday 10-16 except Systembolaget which closes at 15.
The restaurants are open: Malmstens Fisk, Shiraz and Alfredo Monday-Wednesday 11-18, Thursday-Friday 11-19 and Saturday 11-22.
Surf Shack is open Monday-Thursday 11-21, Friday-Saturday 11-22 and Sundays 12-20. Gamla Franska is open Monday-Thursday 11-22, Friday-Saturday 11-23 and closed on Sundays.
Boardwalk is a surf-inspired clothes shop at Stora Södergatan 27. Here you find clothes from Billabong, O´Neill, Rip Curl och Mystic; clothes of high quality in a relaxed style with lots of colour and pattern. The shop also houses an exchange of second hand surf boards, as well as surf and skate accessories, Van shoes and surf magazines.

Lek & Sak
Lek & Sak sells toys that you don´t find in the ordinary toyshop; children´s books, gifts, cards, teddy bears and other soft toys. A room in the shop houses a teddy bear workshop.

The much loved Café Botan by the pond in the Botanical Garden is open daily from 11 to 18 until early autumn.
Five of Lund´s restaurants are listed in this year´s Whiteguide: Grand Hotel, Mat & Destillat, Vendels Matrum, På Skissernas and Gamla Franska in the Market Hall. Recommended but without grade we find Ihsiri, Klostergatans Vin & Delikatess and M.E.A.T.
